New Brunswick
For students who are unable or uncomfortable traveling during the first semester of the upcoming academic year, we are pleased to offer a new Hybrid Program. This program offers on line learning for the fall semester, combined with an in-person traditional spring semester in New Brunswick.
In the first semester, students will take s online courses and participate in video conferences, chat rooms, and discussion boards with their Canadian teachers and classmates. Afterwards, students will travel to New Brunswick for their fully immersive semester abroad!
Students will take 5 courses, including English, Math, and Science, in addition to 2 electives, and will live with a host family while in Canada. The program includes homestay fees, orientation, school fees, and monthly trips and activities. It is an innovative program allowing for a fully immersive experience and a full academic year!
Lambton Kent
If necessary, students will be permitted to arrive as late as November to start their programs in Lambton Kent. Students will also be able to take advantage of the traditional semester programs starting in February. We are still considering applications for all programs at Lambton Kent.
SMG is glad to offer various term lengths and arrival dates for 2020/21 programs in Lambton Kent. Programs vary from 3 months up to 10 months, and can accommodate arrivals in September, November, February or April!
