SMG’s short term immersion programs are designed to provide international students from all over the world an opportunity to experience education and culture in the UK. We offer programs for groups that include full classroom immersion and homestay accommodations. These programs combine classroom time, group activities, excursions, and integration with a host family to create exciting and immersive short term high school experiences for our students. Programs are offered during the academic year.
Exeter is located in the southwest of England, in the county of Devon. The River Exe runs through the city which is close to both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks and the coast just 10 miles away. The gothic cathedral stands at the heart of the city since the year 1400. Ruins of the city walls and Rougemont Castle are other historic landmarks that can be visited there. Combining these with the green spaces and river walks, along with the more modern shopping and restaurants means there is plenty to see and do in the area. Students aged 16-18 will join local students in 15-18 hours of A-Level classes per week, with a selection of subjects available - the College teaches 37 different A-Levels.
