The F-1 Public High School Program is thrilled to present two exceptional destinations for the 2024/2025 school year: Tacoma Public Schools and Seattle Public Schools, located in the beautiful state of Washington. Our team recently visited both districts, exploring several high schools along the way.

Seattle Public Schools (Seattle, WA)
Seattle is a city known for its innovation, creativity, and natural beauty. With a vibrant learning environment, students are encouraged to excel academically while embracing the city’s rich cultural heritage. SPS offer:
- Comprehensive Math and Science Programs: Students are prepared for success in STEM fields with a comprehensive math and science curriculum.
- Cutting-Edge Facilities: SPS has state-of-the-art facilities and outstanding technology in the science classroom, providing students with the tools for hands-on learning and exploration. At Nathan Hale High School, students enjoy the privilege of a cutting-edge radio laboratory, empowering them to craft, record, produce, edit, and broadcast captivating programs. Meanwhile, over at Roosevelt High School, the scene is set for theatrical brilliance with a remarkable theater and auditorium, complemented by a dynamic set and costume design department. During SMG’s recent visit, the bustling preparations for the Spring Production of “Mean Girls” were in full swing, promising an unforgettable spectacle of talent and creativity!
- Outstanding Athletics Program: With a strong emphasis on sports, Seattle Public Schools offer numerous opportunities for students to participate in athletics. Due to the area’s massive basketball culture, SPS has won 3 state titles in seven years and even has athletic programs coached by former NBA players. Home to the Seattle Seahawks, this is also a great destination for students interested in learning more about American football and even watching NFL games!

Tacoma Public Schools (Tacoma, WA)
