Spotlight on Sooke School District — British Columbia
Sooke School District has approximately 13,250 students and serves the communities of Sooke, Port Renfrew, Metchosin, Highlands, Langford and Colwood. Surrounded by forests, oceans, mountains and lakes, Sooke SD is located a short distance from Victoria, the capital city of the province of British Columbia. Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Sooke is one of Vancouver Island’s oldest communities with amazing outdoor adventure opportunities and unique attractions to explore. From stunning lighthouses, museums, and historic parks including Ed Macgregor Park, and Sooke Potholes Provincial Park, to vibrant beach spots and thrilling zipline tours, there’s something for everyone.

Spotlight on Québec High School — Central Québec School District!
Québec High School provides a safe and stimulating learning environment for its students. The school has a dedicated and supportive staff, offering a strong educational experience. QHS emphasizes the development of creativity in the classroom. By getting students involved in creative activities such as dance, drama or music, the school hopes to increase each students’ self-confidence. The school also uses its vast amount of extracurricular activities to develop leadership skills amongst its students. QHS provides an incredible place for students to learn, play, create and much more.
Québec City is known for having a European feel with its cobblestone streets and amazing river views. Walking through Old Québec is often compared to taking a journey back in time. The streets are filled with horse-drawn carriages, street entertainers, singers, artists, and other lively displays. International students can enjoy the area’s many boutiques, art galleries and great restaurants. The St. Lawrence River provides spectacular, one-of-a-kind views of the city.

Spotlight on Nova Scotia ISP!
The Nova Scotia International Student Program (ISP) is committed to providing an excellent education and homestay environment to students from around the world. Students are given the opportunity to choose from a variety of subjects focusing on arts, sciences, languages, and computers, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities including soccer, volleyball, basketball, curling, skiing, and creative art. Host families provide a caring home environment, and one where students are made to feel a part of their individual host family and are included in all celebrations and outings. Education in Nova Scotia is a place for students to grow and excel!
Nova Scotia, a province known for its scenic coastline, is a draw for nature lovers and explorers. Students can enjoy a plethora of activities like beachcombing, surfing, and walking in the sand, as well as many natural attractions, including Kejimkujik National Park, lighthouses, and whales. The Cabot Trail, a scenic drive with coastal views, hiking trails, shops, and villages is a province highlight, as well as Peggy’s Cove, a fishing village with a well-known lighthouse.
