We wanted to update you about SMG and our programs’ availability. It has been incredibly encouraging to see the overwhelming demand for high school programs in the United States. Below you will find exciting updates about our F-1 programs in the United States that we are very happy to share with you.

F-1 Private Program | United States

The F-1 Private Programs options, Choice and Basic, are still accepting applications for the 22/23 school year. We have expanded our Basic program to now include public schools. Students can choose either a private school only or a public/private option (SMG will select the school that students go to). Our Basic program price remains the same for 22/23. We do not anticipate closing either the Choice or Basic programs. Join Diana on March 3rd at 9:30am Eastern Time to learn more about our new Basic private/public school option and more about the available schools in our programs. Please reach out to Diana with any questions.

F-1 Public Program | United States

The F-1 Public High School Program is still accepting applications, but space is very limited. Due to the high demand for the program, some districts have already filled to capacity and others have set a maximum number of students that they will accept from certain countries. We will be announcing several new districts this spring, so please reach out to Mariane directly for updates on new districts coming soon and overall capacity. Today we are excited to announce the following new districts have been added to the F-1 Public High School Program!

Chico Unified School District strives to fully prepare for higher education and a viable career. Home to Chico State University, this town is always hosting interesting events, and there are many nationally ranked sports teams to follow. The District’s “Exemplary Art Program” was recognized by the California Art Education Association in 2001-2002, and Chico High School has one of Northern California’s most advanced Computer Arts labs, offering exceptional digital arts courses. Chico is not only the ideal place for those interested in art & culture, but also for those who love to explore the outdoors! Bicycling Magazine named Chico America’s Greatest Bike Town.
